DAVID MELENDEZ
David’s journey into the creative world began long before Refined Creative Agency. In 2010, he was making YouTube skits for fun and teaching himself graphic design on GIMP. By 2013, he was running a Miami Dolphins fan page across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, sharing his love for sports with an audience of over 20,000.
After graduating from Florida International University in 2019 with a degree in Business Administration, David worked as a Social Media Manager at FIU for three years before launching CHHTalk, a Christian rap blog that has grown into a community of over 30,000 Instagram followers and 150,000 Spotify listeners.
In addition to running Refined Creative Agency, David also films weddings, helping couples capture moments they’ll cherish forever.
A follower of Christ, his faith shapes everything he does. Since 2021, he has managed social media and content for his church, using his gifts to share the Gospel and build community.
When he’s not behind a camera, designing, or brainstorming new ideas, David enjoys music, family time, sports, and growing in his faith. He’s passionate about telling stories, connecting people, and helping others bring their vision to life.
